Great TiVo Remote
This remote works great. I love the lighted key feature but it needs to be a bit more brighter. It works exactly the same as the supplied TiVo remote but feels a little heavier in the hand. The buttons are a little larger than the supplied remote and I like the fact that the "Select" button is in the middle of the arrow ring button. I would recommend this remote to anyone who has at least a TiVo Series 2 DT.

Love This Thing, But...
This is a great remote and it's not too terribly bad on batteries, but I use rechargables.

It's only worth three stars to me because it only has three learning buttons. They could have put another row or two at the bottom making it five star worthy.

Best new Tivo Remote
My husband and I have been avid Tivo fans since it came out. We had the old style sony Tivo remote and then when we got new Tivo's it came with the newer remote. After about 2 years we are still not used to the remote, quite often it gets turned upside down and you end up pressing the wrong buttons.
This new remote makes getting confused a lot less frequent. It has ridges on the bottom so you know which way you are holding it without looking. Also the select button is in the middle of the up/down/left/right button which I find far easier to use. The play, pause, ff, etc. buttons are different sizes again making it easier to use.
I love this remote and would recommend it to anyone. We plan on getting more for all the other Tivo's in the house.
BTW the reason we ordered this one is because we got he Bose 3-2-1 and couldn't change the volume with the other remote. This remote is programmable so it now controls the volume on the Bose. Very easy to program!!!
