TiVo Digital Video Recorder

TiVo is a digital video recorder (DVR) or personal video recorder (PVR) sold in the USA, Canada and due for release in Australia. It records TV programs on hard disk for later viewing ("time shifting"). It can use an Internet based electronic guide to schedule recording based on the viewer's preferences as to programs, actors or genre. Books on TiVo, add on accessories and content are available.
