Editorial Review
This radio-controlled stunt boarder is so realistic, Tony Hawk--extreme boarder extraordinaire--endorsed it with his signature and likeness. As far as toys go, it totally lives up to his name. Properly operated, it'll perform megastunts (like tic-tacs) and tricks that real boarders like Hawk have perfected. At the controls, you determine how the body and the board move. The body leans into turns (and stays on) thanks to seven-position steering and variable speed capabilities. Recovery from deep curves is unbelievable for a toy, but this thing does it. The only bummer: the set requires the FlexPak Power System--a rechargeable battery pack, plus a 9-volt battery--to get rolling. It's not included. --Diane Beall

Tony Hawk Skateboard4
I was very disappointed with the Tony Hawk Skateboard. My son's grandmother bought it for him for Christmas last year. We had to spend an extra [X] for a battery pack, before he could even play with it. Finally when we got the battery pack and was able to play with it, the first time it crashed, the front wheel broke off. Also, when we went to put the battery in the skateboard part of the toy, the battery cover broke,so we had to tape it. I was fed up with the toy, and we just took a loss on our money. A very expensive one!

NOT WORTH THE MONEY5
Got this for my 12 yr old son for xmas. It was really the only thing he wanted. Looked around till i found it on sale, then had to run out and find the flex pak. when all was said and done, spent almost a hundred dollars. WHAT A WASTE of money. After and hour of figuring out what all it did, my son took it out to do some of the neat tricks it showed. BAM! the front axle bent right away. Took back to store, got a new one, not easy, had to wait for new shipment. Then he took the new one out, and BAM. the whole front end broke off. That was the last of TONY HAWK. Tyko needs to make these type of toys a little more durible for the price they charge. If you have a choice, opt for a cheaper version, less money down the drain!!!

Mr. Hawk is on a roll5
