Fables I grew up with - simple and well illustrated
I bought this book for my daughter because I grew up with these stories and I wanted my daughter to read them too. She loves the simple stories with a moral at the end. She often relates the morals to her own life and things she does. She will ask for many of the stories by name and will even tell us the stories in her abbreviated form. I'm really glad I bought this book for her.
Brings back memories
Bought this a a birthday gift for the little one. She loves it! We read a story every night before she goes to bed. Lovely illustrations too. Not too complicated for your toddler or younger ones.
A collection of classics
A beautifully illustrated collection of 16 Aesop's fables aimed at younger children (from aprox 4 years and older). This book contains such classics as "the hare and the tortoise", "the boy who cried wolf", "the town mouse and the country mouse" and "the slender reed and the olive tree."
