![]() | I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence by Amy Sedaris
Buy new: $18.47 / Used from: $4.23 This book is nuts and it's genius. I have never read another book like it and I have searched for similar and have come up with nothing. Amy Sedaris might be crazy but she's hilarious.

![]() | The Idiot Girls' Action-Adventure Club: True Tales from a Magnificent and Clumsy Life by Laurie Notaro
Buy new: $10.08 / Used from: $0.01 Laurie Notaro is my hero. This book made me laugh so hard I had to protect my eyeballs from popping out. Seriously. Her other books are good, too, but again I think her first one was her masterpiece.

Buy new: $10.85 / Used from: $0.06 I think I actually bought this book in part because I was intrigued by the little guy on a stick, but it turned out to be one of my favorite books of all time. This novel defines tragedy. I actually sobbed at the end.

![]() | The Story of Helen Keller (Signature Books series) by Lorena A Hickok
Buy used from: $5.50 I asked my mom to read this book to me when I was little because it had a nice picture on the front of a girl with a dog. (The picture of this book looks like she's petting a goat; I think the dog picture is better. If you buy this book, ask if it's the cover with the dog.) I had no idea it would introduce me to someone I admire a great deal.
|

Buy new: $10.07 / Used from: $4.55 When I was a kid, I read an interview with Kirk Cameron where he said his favorite book was "The Catcher in the Rye." It also said that he followed a Pritikin diet, so I thought this was about bread or something. Little did I know that years later I would find it to be one of my favorite novels of all time.
|
