great book for little boys who love trucks
My son is 3 and has loved construction vehicles since he was a baby. He loves this book and wants me to read it all the time. I like the book because it's very realistic; a young boy who loves trucks and what he would do if he could drive a loader. It's informational as it tells what loaders do. A good educational book that's fun for boys.

Good companion piece to Tonka Toy
I bought this for a Three-year-old's birthday along with a Tonka Front End Loader. My nephew loves construction equipment, but had not really seen a Loader operate. Reading the book to him helped him appreciate the work this equipment does and enhanced his enjoyment of the Loader toy. I would buy a similar book now for him with any construction toy because it familiarizes him with how the equipment works and what it does on a construction job. He has really enjoyed the Loader and a Dump Truck someone else gave him and knows when he plays with it that his play is realistic.

Fun with Tonka Loader
