Breaks after a month...stay away
My grandson loved this toy because of the sounds and the lights. A month later it wasn't working at all. We thought it was the batteries and changed them, but sure enough nothing was working. We called Tonka and then they passed us off to the company that manufactures them...P.S. I still haven't heard from them and it's been almost 5 months. It's not worth the money! I highly recommend you buy some other brand of firetruck for your lil'firefighters
Awesome tonka toy for a 4 year old!!!!
He spends hours of his day playing with the firetruck. It was worth the money. Gives me a couple hours of sanity everyday!!!

boys love it
The classic fire truck-- large enough, with some details, for my boys to feel like it's a real fire truck. I like the fact that it doesn't move on its own-- you have to push it. The sounds are not too loud (some may disagree, but I've heard louder). ladder hasn't broken yet, but it is pretty thin plastic, so it will probably break eventually. Doors open to put small characters in.
