Customer Reviews
Best Tonka Toy Ever!
This toy is great! We got it for my little boy's 3rd birthday, but my 5-year-old and 8-year-old (girls) love it, too. So does my 30-year-old husband! It didn't take too long to put together and all parts were clearly labelled. The wheels don't roll too well on uneven ground, but the kids buried the base in the sandbox making it stationary anyway. They have played with this for hours and hours. Well worth the money in my opinion.

My three children ages 7,5(boys),and 3 (girl) all love this toy. They spend alot of time digging/moving the gravel around their playground. The wheels seemed a little light-weight for a Tonka brand toy, but we haven't experienced any problems during the 4 months of usage. We do throw a tarp over it at night to protect it from the elements since it is all metal (except wheels) and has scratches in the finish after normal usage. Despite our children's height differences, all of them haven't had problems using this ride-on after they learned to use the levers.
We were fortunate to find one of these at a discount store for half the Amazon price. Despite the enjoyment of it, $100+ is a little pricey and we wouldn't have paid over $75 for a self-powered ride-on.
