Not for me
I have a pair of these kneepads.....ouch!! The straps cut into the back of my knees so bad that I have to take them off after about 45 min. Buy something else. I wish I could get my money back on these.
Don't use top strap!!!!
I have had a pair of these for about 10 years. I have had them on all day when laying tile and they are great if you don't use the top strap. The top strap cuts into the back of the thigh and cuts off circulation. The bottom strap doesn't have to be tight as my jeans hold the knee pads up. I have tried several type of knee protectors and this is the only one I can wear all day.
Pretty good
I'm not too thrilled with the straps - I may just be an odd size, but I find that they're either too loose or too tight. Obviously that varies by person. Aside from that, they're very comfortable. The outer shell is soft enough so you don't have to worry about scuffing up wood floors, but solid enough to give you real protection from dropped screws, protruding nail heads, and all the other little items that can really make your knees miserable.
They give good firm support, not much "rolling" or sliding around in them.
Every time I put them on though, the first thought that goes through my mind is "haven't these people heard of velcro". If they had it, I'd rate them a 5
