She Loves It4
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter's birthday after she saw it on TV. While I wasn't overly impressed with it, she loves it! The colors aren't very bright and you have to rub really hard, but she has played with this none-stop for about a week now. She likes all the different tools it comes with and the different patterns you discover on each page. Overall a great value.

Short term entertainment3
The kids really enjoyed it initially. A set with fewer coloring pages and a lower price would be better for us because while the lure of many pages was exciting, the kids only eagerly used it a couple of days. I'm sure they'll use it periodically, but most of the set will be given or thrown away because once you see how it works, the excitement is gone.

Fun for all4
My 6 year old got this as a gift from my mom and everyone loves it in the house from my 2 year old to my husband. It's fun to see what you will create on the pre-done pictures and to see what they will draw on the plain sheets. Plus the texture sheets make it so they create different textures on pages. As for the creativity if they use their imaginations there is loads of creativity to be had! We've made colored, textured airplanes out of the plain pages and bookmarks out of the smaller ones to give away. Plus they love finding different things around the house to create with.
