Misleading picture
Don't let the photo on this deter you from getting a great accessory for your dig camera. I knew to take a chance and get one for my sister through Amazon, because I had purchased what I was hoping was the same thing at Fry's about a year earlier for my camera. Indeed, it was the same item. The case is 3" square with a smooth, handy clip. The zipper mechanism works really well and inside there is a place for your spare battery/batteries and a pocket to hold a spare chip. If your camera case holds only your camera, then this is a MUST accessory. You'll be getting a quality item at a great price.

Will fit a memory card and a battery, but...
If you have a digital camera that uses a bulkier proprietary battery such as the Olympus BLM-01, you'll have to remove its plastic protection to be able to close the zipper. The same applies to memory card cases. I could only close this compact case if I removed both the battery protection and the CompactFlash card's plastic case. This isn't terrible, since I'll be using this handy little pack as an easy-to-reach battery and card replacement, clipped to my camera strap or the camera bag's O-ring -- having to dive into a camera bag to get spare batteries or cards can be time-consuming and a waste of a good photo-op.

The Hakuba HK-BCS Digital Batt Pak is a sturdy little thing, made of rugged nylon and well built. The zipper closes well and I think that overall the case will protect a battery and a card on the go.
