worth the money
I have had to use this pump a couple of times when the gas cans were empty and I didn't want to drive 10 miles to get gasoline just to finish the lawn. It is simple to use and works great

terrific
I am very pleased with this product. First I got it quickly and it was very safely packed. But most important it worked exactly as it should. I placed the tip of the siphon cylinder in the patio fountain that needed draining, anchored the open end of the plastic tube below the bottom of the fountain with a brick, and pulled the handle all the way to the top. The water started to drain immediately. There was a bit of air in the flow, easily seen through the clear tube, so I pumped down then back up all the way and the water filled the tube completely. I then set the siphon carefully down and walked away. Thirty-something minutes later the fountain only had a quarter-inch of water left. I'm very pleased. I won't use this more than every month or two, but the siphon seems reasonably sturdy and I believe it will last me for years.

Does the job well
I've used this about 10 times and I'm pleased that it doesn't leak. It's all heavy plastic and is well-made. I wanted a very long hose to fill a container above my head and it was easy enough to tug the original hose loose and replace it with one from Home Depot. And I'm surprised at the good volume of liquid it moves.
