About the Author
On a beautiful day in May, the authors Anna Tan and Pak So were married on the peaceful Hana coast of Maui, Hawaii.
Anna Tan is an art director who creates eye-catching design work for the art and publishing industries. Her work has been recognized in the field with awards from Graphis, Black Book AR100, and The Society of Publication Design. You can't design a better sunset than the ones in Hawaii and Anna loves watching the technicolor skies from her personal stretch of sand at Kamaole Beach Park in Kihei, Maui.
Pak So is a painter, writer and passionate collector of vintage travel images. He is actively involved in the arts and has worked to organize collections and exhibitions for prestigious Christie's Auction House, Pace/MacGill Gallery, and the Howard Greenberg Gallery in New York. Pak loves going off the beaten path to sample artful local dishes and swears by the tempura udon at Ichiban Okazuya in Wailuku, Maui.
