Perfect Gift4
I was a little thrown off because the cover is a little cheesy, but the book is gorgeous! The pictures inside are stunning, and it has a ton of great information.

Lovely photos5
I wish there were more places here and more "things to do" sections once you get to those places, but it's a good book to thumb through and make plans, for sure.

Works As A Travel "Tease"4
Steve Davey appears to have further developed a relatively new niche in the travel book field with the publication of Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die. There isn't enough factual information presented to consider this book a travel guide. Likewise, there aren't enough opinions presented to consider it a travelogue. Finally, there aren't enough pictures to consider it a pictorial. However, because elements of all three characteristics are present, it seems appropriate to consider this book a travel "tease."

Fortunately, Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die works as a "tease". Despite some slightly clunky advice (almost every site is described as being best to visit first thing in the morning) and the occasional average picture, there are just enough useful facts and vivid pictures presented to whet the interest of anyone that has remotely considered traveling to the locations described in the book. While certainly not the definitive source regarding information or pictures about these spots, Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die is worth purchasing if approached as a "tease" intended to inspire further interest and research.
