Israel Map by Cartographia
This map was very useful for my husband and I on our self-drive vacation in Israel. Because tourism to Israel is down, this was the only English road map of Israel we could find anywhere in the States before leaving. It is quite detailed with almost all roads marked; we found our way to everywhere we wanted to go, and I recommend it other tourists who plan self-drive vacations in Israel.
Not worth it
Bought this map and used it for a weeklong trip to Israel.
The negatives:
-The paper quality is poor.
-The street detail is pretty low for practical street navigation.
-Even though the map does have city maps (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Eilat but no Haifa) they only cover the city centers.
- The back of the map is wasted with a huge street index - this could have been used in a better fashion.
- I found the free map that I got from Budget a more useful tool for overall navigation, since it contained all the info I need for highway driving in a more compact package.
The positives:
- It is not expensive.
- Is ok if you are only going to drive on major intercity roads.
