No need to be embarassed by a scar
I purchased this product for my mother who had recently had plastic surgery on her nose due to basil cell carcinoma. The surgery went well, however, she was left with a scar on her nostril. She was very upset about the scar until we found out abour dermablend. Dermablend did a pretty good job of covering the scar, making it less visible. I would recomend this product.
Product is not SPF 30
Dermablend's cover creme is wonderful but anyone who buys this product needs to know that although Beauty Bridge is selling Dermablend's cover creme as if it is SPF 30. This is not true.
Dermablend's Web site does not indicate that its cover creme is SPF 30 and the Dermablend cover creme container does not indicate it's SPF 30.
Here's what Dermablend wrote to me about its cover creme:
"We [Dermablend] do not make the claim of SPF sun protection for Dermablend Cover Crème, Smooth Indulgence Foundation or Leg and Body Cover. However, we do suggest that you apply a light moisturizer with sunscreen before using Dermablend."
Its a decent cover
We all have our little bits to cover, right? I thought that this did a good job and I have used it off and on for a while. The SPF 30 is nice too though, if you let the sun damage your skin you're going to have a lot more to cover before long. I'm using a few products that turn around some aging effects and protect you against new ones coming up, these are just a few:
Lancome Absolue Replenishing Cream SPF 15
Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3
Relastin, Eye Silk, 0.5 oz, 15 ml
SkinCeuticals Ultimate UV Defense SPF 30 3oz
RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum 1oz
I call these my "fave five look young products". I can't turn back the clock, but I'm not going down without a fight either!
