A breath of fresh air.
This is one of Hillsong's better albums, my second favorite of all time. The DVD is a must see to go only with the cd. The album is fresh and takes you to a different level or worship with God.
Let Creation Sing:
It kind of sounds like For All You've Done from the last album (FAYD) but this is the better version. While the song FAYD had heart it wasn't very dynamic. This is a great beginning song and makes a solid statement of who they are there for, and they are there to worship Jesus.
Salvation is Here:
is off the United album but is done well here. It is so good it feels like you could stretch straight into heaven with radical paise. I just love this song!!
His Love:
at first was annoying because of it's repetitve, abrasive beat but it's a good song, just don't sing it without the backup. I always play this song.
Emmanuel: Is a good song but it is kind of long for the little ammount of words are in it. This is the first time they have left in Darlene's talking, which i liked. But it could've been shorter.
Savior, Wonderful God, and God He Reigns:
all are set up the same and kind of sound the same. They are totally gorgeous on their own but one after the other can be stressful.
Yours is the Kingdom:
A song where the lyrics didn't make much sense at first but the atmosphere of praise to Jesus is stronger then any other song on this album which is why it is my favorite fast/praise song.
Welcome in this Place:
This song is beautiful. It is about inviting the power of the Holy Spirit into your life. It is a bold statement and I love the phrase "saturate, my soul"
Let Us Adore:
Is my all time favorite song on this album! This song is beautiful the melody is gorgeous and so are the words. This song is perfect. All churches should sing this song. It is good for any denomination.
All For Love:
I like how it sounds better on the UNited Album. On here is sounds gospelly and all r&b like. It's fine when I am in the mood for it but the original version is far superior.
Know You More:
Is another beautiful song, while simple when you seek God with the words the meaning will seem so much deeper then most other songs.
There Is Nothing Like:
Just as good as the UNited Version. I love how Darlene ends the song shouting the name of Jesus over and over with a loud uproar of praise from the people. It is very inspiring hearng so many people shout unto God at once.
What the World Will Never Take & Tell The World:
Do not appear on the U.S. version of this album. Sorry. but they are great versions from the UNited originals. It is also nice because we haven't had a Hillsong album end with an upbeat praise song since You Are My World.
This is a great album. Up there with the best of the others. It is originally a double disc set with the songs unedited but the U.S. version has chopped off the last two songs and shortened most of the others to fit everything onto one disc. If you want the real album, I suggest you get it not from any United States distributor. It's not the same without those last two songs and "There is Nothing Like" is a weird song to end with in my opinion, because of how they do it on this album.
One Of The Best Hillsong Albums
This is my favorite Hillsong album, even though that Mighty To Save (the newest one) is very awesome, God He Reigns is my favorite, because this like all pumped up staright worship from beginning to end. If you feel like all pumped up to worship God, listen to this album.
1. Praise In The Highest - This intro only appears on the dvd, it'd be cool if it did appaeared on the album, because it prepares the environment to worship with the chorus singing "Praise in the highest...!".
2. Let Creation Sing - A song from Reuben Morgan. Really awesome song to start the album with, even though the US version cuts off the chorus repeated on the 2nd time, it's still good. It basically tells you why us the children of God are here for.
3. Salvation Is Here - One of United song's sung by Joel Houston. Really cool song, it's like the same move on For All You've Done, a United song as the 2nd song. But this one really fits with the concept of God He Reigns.
4. His Love - Very cool song, my favorite from the album, it has a good beat and tone. It's about the Psalm 23 if i'm not wrong. Really cool song talking about God's love in you.
5. Emmanuel - Another song from Reuben Morgan, even though this song is slow on the message it's one of the best Rueben's songs ever. It's very awesome when they go very pumped "Emmanuel...Jesuschrist, you'll never let me go" and when they go into new song, that's the best part that they put it there. The US version doesn't have the new song, so it sucks there.
6. Saviour - This song is written by Darlene Zschech but sang by Miriam Webster. The verses are kinda long but sweet, but the best part is the chorus how it repeteadly says "you deserve all the praise"...because he does :p.
7. Wonderful God - Good song to follow, it has kind of the same tone but it's like explosive worship there, to just be telling good how wonderful he is and what he's worth of.
8. God He Reigns/All I Need Is You - It took me a while to like this one but it's very good and simple. Written by Marty Sampson, it just tells how God Reigns forever. The All I Need Is You part is very good but i would had liked that they would had sung the verses also.
9. Yours Is The Kingdom - This song took me a while to understand it, it's from Joel Houston. Darlene was explaning on the audio documentary that he wrote very short before the recording and a lot of people didn't know nor undertood the words so it was kinda hard but went good when they recorded it. very cool beat and how Marty sings it, my favorite part is when they say "and the glory Lord...is yours"
10. Welcome In This Place - This one is like the best song of the album. It's written by Miriam Webster but sang by Darlene Zschech. It's about the Holy Spirit dwelling in you and how you're welcoming it. I always like listening to this song.
11. Let Us Adore - One of the best also. Written by Reuben Morgan also. It's a long song but very good performed, you can tell the desire of the people singing "Let us adore him..Jesuschrist Is the Lord".
12. All For Love - This is the track I always skip. This was the let down fo the album, on the Look To You album it's like the best song of it with Holly singing, and this time only men singing and I personally don't like it. It sounds too "boy-band-ish". I rarely listen to it.
13. Know You More - This song is written by Darlene Zschech, another long song but it's very sweet and how awesome they cry out "I live to know you more..."
14. There Is Nothing Like - Another United song, this time led my Marty Sampson, this was like the other explosion from the night people praising and worshipping til the end. Very good song.
15. What The World Will Never Take - This doesn't appear on the US album wihch sucks because this song rules here, it's a couple of seconds longer than the Look To You version, after the awesome cry out of There Is Nothing Like, this fits perfectly.
16. Tell The World - another one not on the US album. This song is the perfect one to close the concert, it's so awesome, the best version and how they all are jumping and stuff.
Overall, it's a very awesome album, I recomment you buy the Australian version because it's a double disc, has the last 2 songs, and most of the songs are way longer.
God Truly Does Reign in this Church!
This is such a wonderful album. I love, Love, LOVE it! Every time I listen to it the more that I love it. My favourite is Saviour into Wonderful God. I listen to the first disc the most just because all the songs are so fabuolous.
I play 4-5-6-7 over and over and over for worship.
Unlike one of the reviewers, I love His Love (which the Hillsong team has cheekily dubbed the Clapping Song) both lyrically and musically. It totally gets you hyped to praise our Fabulous, Wonderful, Truly Deserving God.
I love to dance and sing in His presence and this album has both joyful and thought provoking worship. Emmanuel is gorgeous and that happens to be one of the names of our Jesus that I believe isnt celebrated enough - Jesus, Emmanuel God with us, who will never leave us nor forsake us!
I love Live to Know You....Dee has such a beautiful voice!
I have to say that I love All for Love on this, BUT, I do prefer Holly Watson's voice on the Look To You Album much more. Plus, after All for Love on that album it goes into Shout Unto God....GET THAT ALBUM if only for those two songs - although that album is a "no skipping song" album to!
Get the DVD too! It is really Great, it also has the Introit called Praise in the Highest! GOOSEBUMPS everytime! For He truly does deserve all of our Praise in the Highest!
If you get this CD, and DVD you will be truly blessed as you enter in with them to worship our glorious God!
