I keep this book at my bedside. This is a great resource for the oldest attested Germanic languages, as well as more specific information about the Gothic language and the position of East Germanic within Germanic. I might add parenthetically that the author's introductory chapter is one of the finest expositions of the principles of comparative linguistics that I've ever read.
