An inspiration tale about three cats and their journey to witness the first Christmas.
The old Siamese Ptolemy was alongside his master when a star of unusual brightness was seen in the heavens, indicating an event of momentous significance, and leading to a great quest. Ptolemy must watch over his frail master, so he sends three young cats to journey in his place and fulfill the prophecy: The three shall find the one.
The three are Abishag, a sturdy reliable cat who has never shirked her duty; Kezia, a beautiful young tabby, delicate, a bit vain, but of good heart; and Ira, taller and stronger than the others, with a temper. Accompanying them is a fourth traveler- the rat Asmodeus, who can hear of no glorious thing without wanting to spoil it.
Together, the unlikely band will cover many miles, and have many dangerous adventures. And finally they will come to a far land, where the star bends close to the earth over a humble stable.

Delightful "Furr-st" Christmas
THREE WISE CATS, A CHRISTMAS STORY by Konstantelos and Jenkins-Brady is a sweet telling of the First Christmas, well-written for older children and any adult who loves cats! The authors show an expert understanding of cat behavior; more importantly, they weave an engaging tale of the adventures of the Wise Cats on their eventful journey to visit the new Messiah. Although the book is laced with accurate 1st Century landmarks and human characters, this reviewer (who is the author of a book about the REAL Magi) was disappointed that the authors never identified the Wise Men authentically as Zoroastrian priests. Otherwise, I heartily recommend this delightful story of healing and redemption.
An inspiration tale about three cats and their journey to witness the first Christmas. This is a great Christmas Tale.
As it tells the story of the Three Wise Men from the perspective of three cats as they join the Magi in their search for the Christ child.
The book is both historically and geographically correct along with being culturally accurate. But more important it shows the miracle of Christ's birth and the the effects it has on three travelers who searched for him by following a star.
This is a story which can be enjoyed by both young and old and has all the markings of becoming a Christmas classic in the vain of It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol and The Cat Who Came for Christmas -Cleveland Armory.
It would be a great gift for anyone who likes or has cats, or as a book to be read each Christmas by anyone who would like to experience the story of Christ's birth and the miracles that it brings from the perspective of three little outsiders who traveled across a great distance and endured many dangers.
