Don't buy if you want to make a big bed!
The photo in the advertising that shows the two beds together is misleading...and the line about using the trundle "four ways" definitely implies that you can put the two beds together to make a larger bed.

On close inspection of the photo, however, you can see that the mattress on the frame is not as thick as the mattress on the trundle...which is why they appear to match up. In fact, the trundle does not pop up to the same height as the bed frame. It could be probably be made to work if you get a skimpy and uncomfortable mattress for the bed frame, and a thicker (but only up to 8") mattress for the trundle.

I suggested that the company change the wording to clearly state that, unlike other pop up trundles, this one is NOT designed to be put together to make a king size bed. I also suggested they delete the photo that shows the beds lining up together as well as add the actual height of each piece when it's set up.

It's too much of a pain to return something like this, so my daughter will deal with it. But she's disappointed and so are we.
