Amazing Allergy Free Cookie!
My son has several food allergies and these cookies meet all of our needs and actually taste great! Even people without allergies have been amazed at how much flavor is packed into each one. Plus they are the perfect size for little fingers, not to big, not to small.
Alright but not great
I've been sampling different gluten free cookies. These ones have a certain taste that reminds me of ones that I got at Wholefoods. It's not exactly tasty--a little... something. I suppose you could get used to these and enjoy them--they are free of "most things" and so it might be a good option for some people. They are soft on the inside, which is nice. There is a "je ne sais quoi" missing from these, though.
I think the Pamela's cookies are much better, although they have egg in them. I'd say the Mi-del are also better, although they have more stuff too.
Delicious but poor shipping deal
My son is on a gluten free and casein free diet for 3 years now, and also allergic to soy, and these cookies have been a welcome fun addition to his diet. They're his favorite with the chocolate chips one. They are very chocolatey, not overly sweet, and have a chewy texture (not chalky). They are not really like brownies but taste more like a regular soft chocolate cookie. The cookies are great (like most of Enjoy Life products) but a little pricey (thus only 4 stars), but I have to say this current shipping offer is insane. I was hoping to find a "subscribe and save" offer, like other gluten free products I buy from amazon (like tapioca hot dog buns), because we go through a lot of those, but having to go with this outside seller is just too expensive ($8 of shipping!). I really hope in the future amazon will carry those!
