Sometimes the simplest, least expensive solution eludes us. I've invested over $200 in two mandolins that were constant frustrations before finding this slick little tool for super thin slicing in no time. And the price! If only I had known. You're going to be slicing everything in sight just for the fun of it.
One caveat: Be very, very careful of the blade. "Razor sharp" is not an exageration — keep those finger tips well away from the blade.
