Customer Reviews
Medical -Surgical Nursing assessment and management of clinical problems, Lewis
This is a great book that is very useful for the begining RN student. It explains everything in detail and shows how things are done. Very useful for quick facts about the diseases and their processes. GREAT BUY!!!
Great Medsurg Book
I am giving this book four stars only because the pages are thin and the material is somewhat boring to read. I heard from most people that Iggy is better. Anyway, Lewis is a very good book but it is dry and blah. Also whenever I highlight the pages, the highlighter would bleed through. I paid almost a $100 for this but it looked cheaply made.
Very helpful resource
I utilize this book more than any other textbook required for my program. It is a great resource for careplanning, understanding the ramifications of procedures, and supplemental reading for particularly challenging subjects. As a nursing student in a baccalaureate program, I am inundated with complex and intricate explanations for disease processes. When I need a straight forward, simple answer, this is where I go. A great starting point!
