Customer Reviews
Pacific Outdoors Optima Snowshoe Binding Problem
We were very disappointed in the snowshoes. The straps kept working loose in the buckles allowing the snowshoes to come off. One had to have another person get down and pull very hard and try to tie a knot around the buckle to make them work. Very frustrating. We have a pair of LL Bean snowshoes and their bindings are very superior to the Pacific Outdoors Optima snowshoes.
Good with a few limitations
The snow-shoes arrived promptly and well packaged. They are good quality and built of good material. Two minor problems. (1) the carrying pack is quite large and bulky, so I don't bother to use it - unfortunate, as that was the reason I bought this one. (2) the straps slip off of my boots while walking. I've use a shoe-string to loop them up over the bridge of my boot and now they work perfectly. Look at the straps very carefully of whatever you buy. I wish I could re-do my purchase, but I'm still enjoying these and will continue to do so.
