Features
1). Quick Fix Piezo Trigger
For the first time this new patented technology brings you an easy-to-use system for repairing faulty bulbs. The Quick Fix Trigger sends an electrical pulse through a defective light set, repairing problems associated with defective shunts.
2). Continuity Detector/Voltage Detector
The Continuity Detector/Voltage Detector is a second means to repair miniature light sets and features sound and light feedback. When the LightKeeper Pros Continuity Detector/Voltage Detector scans a defective light set, it will indicate where a power interruption occurs, helping you find the area needing repair.
3). Bulb and Fuse Tester
The Bulb Tester, built into the top of the LightKeeper Pro, offers a third way to repair your light sets. You can individually test miniature light bulbs. Working bulbs inserted into the tester will illuminate immediately, indicating they are functioning properly.
4). Bulb Puller/Remover
The LightKeeper Pros unique, built-in Bulb Puller makes it easy to remove those stubborn hard to get out bulbs. Two different bulb pullers are designed into the LightKeeper Pro: a Conventional Puller and a Hook and Pull remover.
5). Storage Organizer
The built in storage compartment helps you organize and store the extra bulbs and fuses that come with most light sets. It has slots for 2.5 volt bulbs, 3.5 volt bulbs and fuses. Each are labeled to accomodate the free extra bulbs and fuses included with the LightKeeper Pro.
6). LED Light
Light in the tip helps illuminate in dark working areas.

Customer Reviews
It WORKS!
I found this product in Target. I have several strands of star and snowflake lights that were half out. I was frustrated they would have to be thrown away and I bought this as a last ditch effort thinking I had just wasted $20, but IT WORKS. In a few minutes i had all my lights working again. This would be perfect for Pre-lit trees. Great product.
Fix broken Christmas lights in less than 10 Seconds
I bought this at my local Walmart for twenty dollars -figuring I'd take it back since it probably wouldn't work... Got it home and watched the videos on the manufacturers website. It really works and just as easily as in the video. I had 10 strands of 300 count miniature icicle lights that I could no longer buy (white wire with green bulbs). Here was the procedure.
1. Remove 1 bulb (with the lights plugged in).
2. Plug the tester in where you removed the bulb.
3. Pull the trigger a few times (In most cases the section lit on the first pull).
This will be especially helpful on prelit trees or lights that go out once there on the tree. This product really is true genius. This was the best money I've spent in a long time. It literally saved me about 3 hours of playing with bulbs.
There are other functions on the tester -tool to easily pull bulbs, non-touch tester to find a loose bulb, built in light to see what your doing, and replaceable batteries (3 button cells). I used the additional features to find strands that were missing a bulb or other weird stuff.
Sorry to break the 5-star "string"
15 five-star reviews (at the time I'm writing this). Hmmmm. Pretty rare to see that kind of thing, especially when the product supposedly fixes dead light strings with a "pulse" (pulse of what? - all the literature says is a "pulse" - given that it carries 3 small internal button batteries, it can't be much electricity). But, figuring nothing to lose if it did work and the ability to return it easily (I bought mine at a local "HD" store) if it didn't, I went ahead & bought one to see if I could salvage the lights on a section of my pre-lit tree. Well, first I tried the "pulse" treatment. Several times, using both methods specified. Nothing. Dark. No light. OK, moving along in the instructions, I tried the line scan. Part of the problem (with the one I had) was some kind of a short in the device itself, or loose battery connections - there's a little red LED on the top of it - it wouldn't consistently stay lit. When I could get it to stay on, it wouldn't even reliably "chirp" with a totally hot and working segment of the lights (live circuit detector). If it won't even reliably detect a live wire, how could I expect it to find a "dead" section? Well, nonetheless, I kept scanning. I will give it PARTIAL credit - scanning down the wire I actually VISUALLY found a broken bulb (end snapped off). Replacing that one, part of the dead string lit up. Partial credit? Well, I give it that because it forced me to look along the string at every bulb. I found the bulb with my eyes, though, not this thing. As for the other section of the string, I never did find out where the problem is. I did find that the bulb tester worked, and that was a help to make sure that the new bulbs that I tried were indeed good (so I'm giving it the 2 stars, otherwise it would've been 1). Maybe the "pulse" would have worked if the gizmo didn't have some kind of an internal electrical problem, but hey, that's a problem in itself!
Honestly, this is the first time in all my years of reading user reviews that I began to wonder if the other reviews were real or not. My deepest apologies if other users are truly real independent purchasers (and not "plants" from the product's manufacturer), and I'm very glad that it worked for you. However, I felt it necessary to provide a review from the other side of the fence. I found this device to be nearly useless. If you're frustrated with your dead string of Christmas lights, and you want to give this a try, I'd strongly advise you buy locally from a store with a good return policy. Best wishes, and Merry Christmas!
