Good Dora DVD
"We're a Team," teaches the importance of teamwork in a Adventure Race; Dora and friends maneuver through an obstacle course it takes teamwork for Dora, Boots, Benny, Tico and Isa to make it past the obstacles and win the Super Adventure Race!
"Baseball Boots," Dora helps her friend Boots play his first baseball game. Boots needs help to catch, throw, save his bat from Swiper. Plus these are two bonus: "Bouncing Ball" and "Choo Choo.". Bouncing ball introduces them to counting and Choo Choo to colors. Choo Choo was great because my kids enjoy the trains.
A negative for me is The Old Grumpy Troll is included in some of the scenes. The Grumpy Old Troll requires Dora and her traveling partners to solve his riddle before crossing over his bridge. I guess is supposed to be fearsome creature since is a troll but I don't understand why this character is included. My issue is that my three year old is afraid of him and stop watching and leaves the room as soon as he appears, so we have to skip that part. The grumpy old troll might not have the same effect with every child but just be aware.
A positive is that this DVD has the Spanish track which is a plus for those parents that are looking for DVDs in Spanish. This is excellent, my 3 yr old is learning Spanish quite fast just watching the video in Spanish.
You can't go wrong with Dora!
My 3 year old loves them all...and especially this one!
My Daughter Counts in Spanish and English at 2, GO DORA
My eight year old watches it still and my 2.5 year old can not get enough! Dora is the best cartoon for little Women... she is informative, educational, adventurous and kind.... Dora ROCKS!
