Store cancelled my order with no explanation
I ordered this ukulele for my husband as a Christmas gift.
I order with time in advance so it could arrive in time; however, the store cancelled my order without any explanation.
I placed the order once again - hoping this time it would go through - and, voila, the store once more CANCELS my order WITHOUT any explanation, apologies or what not!
Very upsetting.

Ukulele
For starters, I bought this for my dad as a kind of half joking/half serious birthday gift as he has said, "I think I'm a Ukulele-playing kind of guy." It was a nice color and cute, but for the most part looks like it was put together by someone with a "make your own Ukulele" kit...you can see the glue on the inside and there is hand painting (and not very neat at that) on the fret board. Also, I thought it would be coming with some kind of cover or bag for travel and storage, but it did not come with anything else.

I guess all in all it served its purpose and it was fun to open and play around with, but I was disappointed as it didn't look like the real thing. Bottomline: if you want something just for fun, to learn or for kids to play with, this would work well; but if you're looking for something more professional and/or sturdy and high quality, take a look at other options.

Ukulele for parties
I was a bit disappointed in this ukulele although it served it's purpose for our Luau. The cloth case for it did not come with it as advertised. I had to contact the merchant to have it sent separately.
