Watch it and find out why every adult should drop HBO and subscribe to Showtime. CBS will air severely watered down version of this show becuase of the Writer's Strike, but there can be no way that version could match the brutal genius of the Showtime version.

Buy used from: $189.99 This is the one show that never disappoints. Season after Season it just continues to get better. If you haven't seen these show you are really missing out. The stakes are always raised with each episode, and the seasons progressively get more entertaining and shocking at the same time. Not at all for Children, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

 | Alias - The Complete Collection (Seasons 1-5 + Rambaldi artifact box)
Buy new: $167.99 / Used from: $144.97 What a show. It started off at one pace and then it took off like a jet on a mission. This show has so many great moments, it is hard to believe it aired on regular TV. Great writing and a Great strong female lead. Jennifer Garner earned every one of her stripes on this fantastic show.

 | Lost - The Complete First Season
Buy new: $47.99 / Used from: $18.75 This entry is really for all 3 seasons. ABC dropped the ball with its scheduling issues, but I find this show is far better to watch on DVD anyway because you can pause, think out loud, and not have to wait a whole week for the next episode. It is truly a fantastic thought provoking show that is not for the weak minded.

Buy new: $199.99 / Used from: $143.49 This show needs a little suspension of disbelief for it to work, and I was not a fan of SEASON 6, but with that said, all of the other seasons of this show ROCKED, and is absolutely worth the time watching.

Buy new: $299.99 / Used from: $207.99 This has a special place as being my Favorite SCI-FI show of all-time. Some of the episodes were so good, it is hard to believe they aired on regular TV.

Buy new: $8.49 / Used from: $7.00 Not many people know about this FX show, but they should. Morgan's documentary style show touches fasinating subjects like trying to live on Minimum Wage for a month and places you as his witness. Great idea, Great Show.

Buy new: $99.99 / Used from: $89.99 Here's a show that started out to be just a Buffy Spin-off, but soon after the first season it started to grown into its own. This is a highly under-rated series that can easily become one of your guilty pleasures.

Buy new: $21.99 / Used from: $9.33 This is the show that Launched Johnny Depp's Career. If you weren't an 80s kid and you missed this series, give it a try and see some of today's stars in cameo appearances, as well as travel back in time to the fashion nightmares on this then "Hip" Teen cop drama.

Buy new: $35.99 / Used from: $25.75 This show is quite under-rated but good enough to make the list. What? No CSI's made the list? As much as I do enjoy catching a CSI episode here and there, there are just too many versions of the show, and too many seasons to recommend that it would take up most of this list and render it useless, so I made this top 20 list with that in mind.
