A necessity for all beginning painters.5
This book compliments any beginning classes one is taking part in. Gets you started doing value sketching, mixing paints, and learning techniques right from the start. An invaluable tool for the beginning painter.

Watercolor Right From The Start.5
This is my third book written by Hilary Page. This book is a little more challenging, but with Hilary's easy written style and beautiful color pictures, you will happily draw and paint your way threw it. From Basic painting techniques to composition, it's all here.
My favorite, 'Studying Pigment Behavior'. Then Six chapters on how light, shadow and color behave with all the geometric forms is not to be missed. N.Williams

WATERCOLOR RIGHT FROM THE START3
I ORDERED THIS BOOK BECAUSE OF A CLASS I WAS INTERESTED IN TAKING AND YOU NEEDED THIS BOOK TO TAKE IT. I DON,T THINK I WANT TO TAKE IT NOW IF THIS IS WHAT WE WILL BE DOING . I,M SURE IT WOULD HELP ME TO LEARN ALL ABOUT COLOR BUT DON,T THINK I WOULD ENJOY DOING IT THIS WAY. I WOULD RATHER JUST LEARN AS I PAINT. IT GOES INTO TOO MUCH DETAIL I DON,T CARE IF MY LIGHT HOUSE IS PRECISE OR NOT OR MY SHADOW IS EXACTLY RIGHT .I WANT TO RELAX AND ENJOY PAINTING AND NOT MAKE IT A LOT OF HARD WORK. I PAINT FOR MY OWN ENJOYMENT. THIS IS FOR SERIOUS PAINTER. DONNA DJD
