Not very practical
This book is produced by Lion Brand Yarn and makes lots of use of their specialty yarns, which of course are higher priced. There are some cute items including suede cat toys that would be a big hit as a gift. However, I didn't consider some of these items easy to crochet. The dog size ranges are excellent for mid-size to larger dogs. They run from 14" back length to 26" back length, and I often have problems finding patterns for large dogs. The pet bed pillow using the fake fur eyelash yarn is cute, but customers need to be very careful and know their pet well. Anything with strings that can be ingested is hazardous for pets that chew or eat fabrics, cushions, or clothing.

This book has easy to follow patterns, clearly written, and amply illustrated. The patterns themselves are darling and work up in no time at all.
