Product Description

As the only daughter of a successful businesswoman, Grace grew up with nothing but the best. Sheltered by her single mother and educated in an exclusive private school in Detroit, Grace was not ready for the harsh realities of an unforgiving world.

Grace's naivete coupled with her desire to experience life on her own terms leads her down a path of emotional devastation and physical abuse. Through a chance encounter Grace meets Mike, a successful design artist who introduces her to a relationship very different from her usual one-night-stands and affairs with married men.

Things take a turn for the worst however when Grace's roommate walks in on her and her married personal trainer in their apartment. This betrayal tears apart Mike and Grace's romance and shatters the trust and friendship between Grace and Trina.

In the midst of torn relationships, Grace's mother dies in a tragic plane crash leaving Grace with no one left to turn to except the God she thought had long since abandoned her.

Customer Reviews

SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!!!!5
What can I say: I just loved it. This book was so real-like. Once I got past the beginning with all the preliminaries, it was on from there. Ryan Phillips did an awesome job with this book. I became attached to all the characters. I felt their emotions and feelings.

I was sick with the flu right along with Grace, I was upset with Trina for spreading lies. I was mad at Mike for not wanting to hear Gracie's side of the story. I was disgusted with the trainer for forcing himself on Grace. I was there with young Mike in the garage just looking for a place to sleep for the night. I was surpised at how nice Mike's place was. I helped Grace break some of her things in her room at the devastating news she received. In other words, I WAS THERE!! I was a silent witness character in every scene through the entire book.

I just simply loved it. It is by far my favorite book. I have passed it on and have received similar response. I could not put the book down. I knew I had to get up early the next morning to go to work, but I stayed up and finished the book. I risked being late the next day which I was. But it was well worth it.

There is not a dull moment in the book. There are surprises and treats in every chapter on every page up to the last word. When I finished the book I was looking around for more. I was completely hooked on Saving Grace.

Ryan Phillips this is certainly a job well done. I can't wait for the next one. Please hurry up. If it is anything like or better than Saving Grace, I know that I am in for a phenomenal reading. My chair, pillow and lamp are all set waiting. May God continue to bless and endow you with creative, innovative, compelling, and heart moving writings.

~~~I think that this is enough for now. I'll save something for the nexr book's review ~~~
Loved It, Loved It, Loved It5
I couldn't put this book down. The characters all came to life. I became so engrossed in the book it had me responding out loud. I can't wait to read the sequel.
Wonderful!4
I picked this up from the library and I really enjoyed it. It's a thick book, but it kept me engrossed all the way through. The storyline covered what I would say is a common road that one travels on their way to finding Christ: ups and downs, tragedies, it's all there. Even though Grace was surrounded by Christians, it was a path she had to embark on for herself. Great story. Don't pass this up.
