Great for Fans of Political and Social Commentary
Since Gary Larson and Bill Watterson retired and Bill Amend moved to a Sunday only format, I have found that this series of comic strips has more than filled the gap left. Wiley Miller's take on political and social life has entertained me throughout the years. This comic is great for fans of politcal and social commentaries. If you are not a fan of such, you may not find the humor in this series.
This strip has it all. The witty one panel strips, short story sketches revolving around a young girl named Danae, her family and her talking horse and the myriad of other new characters and settings throughout the series. This strip is highly entertaining and will bring you something new most everyday.
I have been looking for a desk calendar and plan on purchasing this one for the new year.
I love this guy's stuff...
The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that this was given as a gift to my mom...so, no, I didn't open it to check it out personally before giving it to her. But, she shares much of my political and humor likes/dislikes, and I figure she'd enjoy it. I love Wiley's work, and have many a newspaper clipping on the fridge for personal edification and sharing. I should get more of his collected stuff. ;->
Great
I love Non Sequitur and having the calendar with a new page every day is just what I wanted.
