Average customer review:Product Description
A true fan favorite, The Argyle Sweater started as an online feature, gathering and entertaining loyal and enthusiastic fans. Soon the fervor was enough to warrant a true syndication launch. The result was one of the most successful launches ever for Universal Press Syndicate. Funny, irreverent, smart, and entertaining, The Argyle Sweater is the new comic everyone's not only reading but also talking about.
The Argyle Sweater is a situational comic featuring animals, pop culture icons, the occasional evil scientist, bugs, everything but the kitchen sink--oh, wait; that's there too. With a different full-color panel each day, the The Argyle Sweater 2010 Day-to-Day Calendar will do more than keep the date: the pages will be passed, posted, and pinned, as readers are sure to want to share the laughs.

I like the calendar cartoons. I bought this last year and enjoyed it. I seems I should have saved it from last year since it is the same. This happpened in the past with Far Side. It seems a way to ripoff the consumer with no new material.
Deja vu
Hillburn is a very clever artist, even though some of his work is reminiscent of Larson's work.
My major beef with the 2010 calendar is that is appears to be at least a 90% rehash of last year's version.
The new feature of added amusements on the reverse of the daily pages is not sufficient value to offset the lack of original work.
I won't be buying any more day-to-day Argyle Sweater calendars, unless I'm assured of new content.
Bald Tire
Mr. Meyer was being too kind. When you rip the consumer off in this way by recycling last years material into the next, you should be removed from the sellers list. It was not a total loss though because I was able to give this item to another gent that works with me. This has left me free to enjoy The Python and Pearls calendars that I also purchased.
