Jeffrey Gitomer is one of the top sales authors and speakers today. This is a good book for any level of sales professional. I don’t agree with him all the time but he is the type that would respect me for that. He tells it as he sees it and holds nothing back. This book has great ideas and is a very easy read.
Subliminal Persuasion: Influence & Marketing Secrets They Don't Want You To KnowSubliminal Persuasion: Influence & Marketing Secrets They Don't Want You To Know by Dave Lakhani
Buy new: $16.47 / Used from: $13.74
I know Mr. Dave Lakhani and I am a fan. I have followed him the years. The first part of the title was kind of confusing to me, the “subliminal” part. The book if full of just good rock solid ideas. He talks about the importance of storytelling to help you persuade. That is one of the most important ideas today’s sales professionals need to implement to close more sales.

This is a great book. This is a must book or CD set. Written years ago but still very applicable for today. The CD are boring at times but I can’t recommend it enough. A must for any small business or entrepreneur.

Question Your Way to Sales Success: Gain the Competitive Edge and Make Every Answer CountQuestion Your Way to Sales Success: Gain the Competitive Edge and Make Every Answer Count by Dave Kahle
Buy new: $10.19 / Used from: $8.58
I am a big fan of Dave Kahle, I subscribe to his Ezine and is a sales expert that really sounds like he knows how it is in the real world of sales. I always say in sales, “It isn’t what you say but how you say it” that is so important in closing and retaining more customers. But… this book is very specific on asking better questions, so don’t expect a whole bunch of other sales topics.
Selling to Big CompaniesSelling to Big Companies by Jill Konrath

Chapters 6 & 7 talk about creating and strengthening your “Value Proposition”, these two chapters are reason enough to purchase this book. I have spent over six years researching B2B sales and this book by far gives the best overview and specifics of “how to” build a great value proposition. This book is a must for sales executives and sales professionals. Scott Marker
