Sufficient
Nothing fancy about these boots, but they do the job. I think I would prefer the ability to cinch up the top of the boot versus the elastic, but the boot stayed in place and certainly kept my shoes dry when riding. We will see how the elastic holds up. The soles are only half soles, so if you are looking to avoid getting your shoes wet when putting a foot down on a wet road, then these will not do the trick.

Should work just fine...
Haven't been used yet (we live in Arizona!) but they seem well enough made. They have a rubber "sole" that would go under the toe of your boot. Probably wouldn't want to walk too far on that, but it holds the cover on well. My husbands boots are size 13 and they just barely fit into the pocket, but they are really big "Harley" type boots,and they DO make it!

Flimsy design
I bought these for a Motorcycle trip out west. The first time I had to use them, they tore and were unusable.
