About the Author
Meera Lester is an internationally published writer based in San Jose, California, where she writes books, articles, and screenplays. Also an avid artist, Lester paints in oils and indulges her passion for pique assiette by decorating pots, bird baths, and stepping-stones in her garden.
Artist Marsha Janda-Rosenberg has spent more than 30 years studying and creating art in a variety of diverse mediums, ranging from textiles to steel sculpture. Her current focus is mosaics where she has blended two of her passions--ceramics and gardening. In addition to having her pieces exhibited in galleries around California, Janda-Rosenberg teaches pique assiette and creates one-of-a-kind designs such as patios, walkways, and murals. Her studio is located in Soquel, California.
Customer Reviews
Very dissapointed
I bought this book because I was interested in Pique Assiette and the only other review said it was very good. Now after buying it I see that every single project has exactly the same instructions! Basically you are reading the same text over and over again and all thats changing is the photos. Take my word, save your money and buy something else.
A great "how-to" book, great gallery
This book does a really great job of teaching you how to create really fun projects. Simple, easy to follow instructions. The gallery section is very cool, with all kinds of great art that will spark new ideas for stuff you can create for your house and garden.
Loved it!
