Decent product for the price, but not excellent4
Reviewed on Friday, March 24th:
My unit arrived quickly and securely packed thanks to Amazon. Excellent service always with them. The unit was mostly ready to go out of the box. Before I mounted it, I fully tested it. I didn't want to go through the hassle of mounting it if it was DOA. The first thing I ran into was a sticker in the upper right corner of the screen. It said to remove it, but it was REALLY fixed on there and ended up tearing and made it very difficult to remove. I'm not even sure what the heck the sticker was there for. There was also a little arrow in the lower left corner of the screen that seemed to serve no purpose as well. Used my fingernail to rub it off. I later found that the screen has the all-to-common plastic protective layer... it's REALLY tighly on there though. Be careful peeling up and edge and peeling it off. I didn't notice much change in picture quality with, or without, the protector, so I'd consider just leaving it on. I powered it up and adjusted the various color/tint/brightness knobs to get an "acceptable" picture. The screen is of very low quality and resolution is poor. I have seen cheaper LCD screens on the market that had better resolution. I'm not sure why Audiovox used such a cheap screen. I have pictures of the screen at http://dameon.org/Audiovox.VE920 if you'd like to judge for yourself. Some points to consider, that I couldn't get any information on: the screen does swivel almost flat in all orientations and rotates 180 degrees one way and 90 degrees the other... giving about 240 degrees of rotation and it played several DVD-R media discs as well as DVD, CD, CD-R, and CD-R with MP3 files. Overall, the unit is a reasonable deal. It fits my needs pretty well and I would almost consider trying to adapt a better screen to the chassis... if something like that could even be done. LCD screens can be pretty proprietary.

UPDATE on Monday, March 27th!
As stated MANY times, especially in relation to this item, Audiovox quality control could use some work. I fully tested my unit BEFORE hanging it under the cabinet. I didn't want to go through the trouble of hanging it and finding out it was defective. After verifying my unit was working, I went through the process of hanging it, which was made fairly easy, with the included template. After hanging it, I popped in a movie and started to watch it. About 10 minutes into the movie, the audio went silent. Hit mute a couple times to make sure it wasn't muted (it wasn't; it has a mute indicator and it was going on and off with no change in audio). I ejected the movie and changed the source from TV, to radio, to CD audio... nothing had sound. I increased and decreased the audio level with no change. I unplugged the unit for about 2 hours hoping to "factory reset" it, but no change. Finally, I unplugged it and left it overnight. Came back the next morning, plugged it in, still no audio. I put everything back in the box and got an RMA from Amazon. The replacement unit is on the way and this one goes back in the morning. I like everything about the unit (except the poor resolution), so I intend to continue to swap out units until I get a working one. I'll update once I have the replacement in hand and tested... for several days.

The picture could be much better...3
We bought this after much research into under-cabinet tvs. It received an average of 4 and a half stars and the price was less than anything we had seen.
When we got it in, we were not impressed with the picture quality. It is not a very crisp image..pretty fuzzy. The sound is not that great either.

don't buy1
Within two weeks, on the first unit we bought, the volume went away on the tv and the telephone, then the picture went black, then it wouldn't play any cd's or dvd's. We sent it back, ordered and received another unit. We've had it for four weeks. By now, the dvd won't eject the dvd (one of my favorites), and the telephone doesn't answer anymore. The one star I gave it is only because I had to put something down. Something is seriously wrong with the product. For us, it's been a piece of junk.
