Best Comedian Ever!!!5
I bought this back in the day in the form of a cassette. In an effort to continually update my cassettes to CDs, I bought this CD. I hadn't listened for a few years but it is still as funny as ever. If you were too young to know about Robin Harris or never took the time out to listen to him before he past away, I would highly recommend it. Although I'm a fan of Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy, Robin is one of the best that I've heard. He is right up there with the GREAT ONES!

The funniest album from one of the funniest comedians of all time5
The first time I ever saw Robin Harris do stand up on a cable special I laughed so hard I was crying. I had never laughed like that before and I am still laughing at his jokes to this day. Robin Harris is a tell it like it is, pull no punches comedian. In my opinion he is one of the funniest comedians of all time and it is shame that his career was cut short due to his death and that this is the only album he ever made. But we do have this album to remember him by. And this album will make you laugh until your sides hurt. This album was recorded in an actual comedy club and when you listen to it, it feels like you are in the club, in the audience with Robin Harris up on the stage. Harris even goes as far as to rip on hecklers in the audience. This is a very funny comedy album and I cannot recommend it enough. If he had still been alive I have no doubt that Robin Harris would have been one of the 'Original Kings of Comedy' because he truly was just that, a King of Comedy.

The first time I saw Robin Harris on HBO, I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe5
I agree with the other posters that Robin Harris is one of the funniest standup comedians ever. Period. I first came across him when I watched his HBO One Night Stand performance. I literally laughed so hard I had trouble catching my breath. Unfortunately, we don't have much of his work available. There's this CD, his performance in Spike Lee's movies, and a posthumous version of Bebe's Kids in a watered down animated version. If you want to watch Robin deliver some of his routine, watch House Party. In his role as Pops, he uses some of his lines from this Bebe's Kids CD in his running monolgue as he goes looking for Play near the middle of the House Party movie. I wish HBO would release his One Night Stand performance on DVD!
