Customer Reviews
It is what it is
This is a great detailed map of the subway system. It's large, easy to read and with details of subway stations, places of interest, etc. This is a good map for preplanning a trip and for the price, it's a bargain. However, it is a fold up map with all the problems of refolding it after you open it and not very durable where the paper is folded.
FINDING ORDER
THIS BOOK HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY WHEN I WAS IN NEW YORK. MASTER THE SUBWAYS AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET AROUND THE CITY QUICKLY. ALSO, RIDING THE SUBWAYS GIVES YOU A CHANCE TO FEEL APART OF THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN NEW YORK. MIKE
Awesome Subway map! Made getting around in NYC so much easier!
This subway map is printed big enough that you will have no trouble reading it to find out where you are going. I did find it very big to unfold and get back in your bag between stops...that being said, this is what I did- I cut the part that we used to most out of the map. I still had access to the other areas, but only pulled out Manhattan Island when travelling in the city. After cutting it down, it was the perfect size. Unfortunately, I left it at a restaurant on our last evening there and was totally bummed. I plan to order two more for my next visit.
I'm sure that you can get maps other places for free, but I find that all the other maps were not easy to read for a small town girl not used to the big city. Come on people, it's only $4.
