Easily mounted on either a vertical surface like a wall or a horizontal surface like a roof, this 2-1/2-by-4-foot U.S. flag will wave in tricolor triumph through many holidays. It's made of heavy nylon, with double-stitched red and white stripes and embroidered white stars on the familiar blue background. It dries quickly after rain, resists fading in sunlight, remains durable in wind, and yet is light enough to flap in the slightest breeze. The 5-foot wood pole (topped by a round knob) slides through a sleeve in the flag, and the flag attaches to the pole with a spring clip (included). The pole comes in two sections that screw together. For mounting, there's a white plastic flag-holder bracket that requires just four screws (included) and adjusts with a twist of a knob to 13 different positions. When the U.S. flag is not being flown, other flags or windsocks can be attached to the pole. --Fred Brack

"Flag made in U.S.A. Components made in China or Indonesia"
Very nice flag, but come on, why not make the pole and bracket in the States as well? I think at least on the purchase of the American Flag, I should not fund the Chinese military.
Other issue I have with the flag is that the advertisement tag is obnoxiously large, and not removeable. A 1" x 2 1/2" logo tag in white stands out like a sore thumb against the blue.
However it is a nice flag and has a good feel. The sewn stripes and embroidered stars do give it some texture.

A grand flag indeed
This is a beautifully crafted flag with rich colors and nicely embroidered stars. The pole is sturdy and handsome and the flag flies gracefully in the breeze and hangs nicely when there is no breeze. I am very pleased with this purchase indeed.

Great Flag
This is a fine flag. It's very well made. As the product description says all the stripes are individually stitched (double stitched actually). The colors are vibrant. I've had several flags with a similar method for attaching to the flag pole and they all failed rather quickly. This flag however uses a leather loop sewn into the flag itself and that's what will make this flag last a long time. Most other flags have a plastic loop that hooks the flag to the pole and these fail very quickly. I noticed come mild criticism due to a white tag (not a label) on the flag. It is there but it isn't very noticeable even when fairly close. And if you were determined to remove it, an exacto knife or any other sharp instrument would allow it to trimmed off.
I gave this flag 5 stars because I am very satisfied with it. But one thing buyers should know is that the flag does not come with a 13 position bracket that requires 4 screws, it comes with a white two position nylon bracket. That is great for flying the flag at 45 degrees or 90 degrees. Amazon should update this info.
You should be quite happy with this flag.
