When we founded US Performing Arts Camps our mission was to provide the very best training in the arts, both in performing arts and media. We set out to create summer programs that would give passionate and talented students the opportunity to hone their craft with the best professionals in the country. Today we are the largest network of performing arts and media programs in the country. In partnership with top universities across the nation we have 26 specialty training programs in the fields of film, television, theater, dance, and other digital media. Our mission remains the same. US Performing Arts Camps is now considered one of the best in the world at training young people in the arts. Our programs are taught by the university or college departments and their professional faculty and guest master teachers in their fields. US Performing Arts Camps are designed as conservatory style programs that encourage students to work collaboratively in achieving high goals. Some programs are one week long, others are two weeks duration and we have a three week Musical Theater Conservatory program at UCLA. Many students spend a summer attending more than one program and visit more than one campus where US Performing Arts Camps are offered. For the colleges and universities who run the programs they have become recruiting tools that help them select top talented young people they would like to invite to attend their school. For the student, the programs are an opportunity to experience a college campus, grow and develop as a person, and improve their skill level in the arts while making friends and having a lot of fun.
