Ethical Eating
Our national denominational current study/action issue for 2008-2012 is "Ethical Eating: Food and Environmental Justice." This program advocates sustainable agriculture, farmers' markets, organic food, fighting hunger, and fair prices, especially for imported goods such as coffee, tea, cocoa, and chocolate. Explore the complex relations of poverty and hunger, nutrition education, and sustainable agriculture - and enjoy some Fair Trade coffee or chocolate!
