Customer Reviews
Unbeatable for the price
I saw this book at the Rock and Roll Museum in Seattle, and when I got home I regretted not picking it up. Chock full of all the guys you see at Posterpop.com; could not believe how cheap I was able to get it for. I'm certain it was at least 2x at the museum gift shop. All in all a lot of good stuff to look at. People say the first one is better, I can't comment as I haven't seen #1. I'd say if you can score it under $10, you can't lose.
Pretty cool little book
Lots of ref. pieces and concepts for layout - more on the graphic design side of the house - but can be helpful for tattoo artists looking for reference... worth the cash def.
Art of Modern Rock: Poster Girls
While I found "The Art of Modern Rock" extremely well executed and put together, I found this book not as invigorating. Many of the poster girls were half fast and too many of the same artist appeared in the book. I still use it as I am a poster artist myself however I find the original coffee table book far more useful.
