Flash Bang Transformer4
The kids have been playing with Flash Bang for two days straight now. Seems to have good battery life and virtually indestructible. My 4 year old plays rough with his toys and Flash Bang seems to be holding up well.

It's easy to hold and makes two noises only - a transforming noise and a laser shooting noise.

It transforms enough to be worth the purchase.

Kind of boring2
I got this toy as a "freebie" Christmas of '07 from Amazon for buying another toy. I figured what the heck....it's free. I see it's selling for $15.00 at this time. My two boys (3 and 4 at the time) played with it for about 5 minutes and never hardly touched it again. I couldn't say if it's really durable or not, unless you count the endless times it's been thrown in and out of the toybox and hasn't broken. :) They are just bored with it.
