Customer Reviews
Criminally overlooked
I remember getting this LP in Holland back in the 80s and always listening to Midnight Sensation. One of the best opening tracks on an album ever. I'd dream about going to school in Jacksonville instead of Arnhem, The Netherlands! Later I also got a very crappy static-ridden cassette recording of their King Biscuit show off AFN. I'm glad these timewarp recordings are available on CD now!
Most Under-rated Album Ever
I was so glad to find this on CD finally! And to read that there were others that had worn out their cassettes and have never forgotten the awesome mix of melody and rock of this solid album of one great song after another. Althought the song list doesn't list it, "2+2" is on this CD--one of it's best. I could go on and on about this CD. If you've stumbled across it by mistake and have never heard it, buy it.
Glad To Finally Have This One On CD
In the summer of 1985, this then-little-known brother of the legendary Ronnie Van Zant broke this album on the scene of rock-and-roll fans and I, for one, loved it. For years, I looked for it to be released on CD, but to no avail. How thrilled I was to finally learn its available as my LP is well beyond its better years.
Its well worth checking out for those who have not done so yet. My personal favorites are "She's Out With a Gun" and "You've Got To Believe in Love," but there are plenty of other cuts just as good. I highly recommend this one for any Van Zant fans.
