These sandwich crackers have been the most difficult product line to launch in my family's 25 years of snack making, but they are also the one's we're most proud of. The peanut butter for our sandwich crackers is made by roasting and grinding organically grown Valencia peanuts. We then spread it on our Organic Classic Rich Crackers, which are made with organic red winter wheat, and have a buttery, toaster flavor. This timeless combination results in an organic, trans fat free snack with a rewarding taste and texture: slightly salty and crunchy, with a lingering sweet, earthy, nutty flavor. About the Brand
When we founded Cape Cod Potato Chips, Inc., and Chatham Village Foods, Inc., we dedicated ourselves to making the best tasting all-natural snacks in the world. Today, the greater availability of organic ingredients has allowed us to bring that dedication to a higher level with our new company: Late July Organic Snacks.

The ingredients for our new snacks are a throwback to the days before modern agribusiness. Unlike conventional, pesticide-sprayed crops grown for high yields rather than flavor, organic crops are fragile and expensive, but the payoff is immense: superior flavor, peace of mind, and a cleaner, safer environment.

Our recipes are inspired by a bygone era as well. Through our snacks, we hope to perpetuate the tradition of the small, local 19th-century snack maker that used to be found all across the country.

Great Tasting Crackers, Perfect for busy families!
These crackers are an excellent quality snack food. The classic cracker is a crispy, (Ritz-like) buttery cracker, with peanut butter inside, as described. I bought a box at our local supermarket, before committing to the 4 boxes, and the kids & husband loved them! To save money, I bought them on Amazon. Each packet has 4 cracker sandwiches in them, so if you are like me, you'd like to know that your kids will eat the entire package! Most of the other brands have 6 in a pkg, so sometimes kids will toss what they can't finish during lunchtime. The cost is about 0.62 each, and convenient. I also purchased Back to Nature Mini Classic Creme Grab & Go, and they are 0.52 each pkg. We eat ORGANIC, and (natural also) and the food lookslike other kids at school, but without the chemicals, GMO's, and hydrogenated fats...yuk!Eat healthy in 2007!

Too salty for me
Everything about these crackers are great (organic, pack size), but the sodium content is too high for me...12% of the DV per pack (4 crackers). I know that everyone has a different level of taste for salt, so take this review with a grain of salt....no pun intended. Out of personal preference I like the lightly salted versions of chips, nuts, etc. I want to taste the food more than the salt. They have sprinkled these peanut butter crackers on the outside with salt, so I rub as much of this off as possible, but they still taste too salty to me. The peanut butter is yummy, but I won't reorder this product. I will pass this order on to the niece and nephew, and will hope that in future they will come out with a reduced sodium version.

I love the taste of the snack crackers. I enjoy knowing they are organic and I can read the ingredients and know what they are. Okay they are the healthiest snack but occassionally is ok.
