I've heard Bekoff speak on a community radio station here in Colorado, KGNU. It would be transformative if Bekoff could have access to the commercial stations with the 50,000 watt signals.

An excellent documentary about prairie dogs trying to survive the assault from gassing, flooding and drunk people with guns.

Sometimes people point towards behavior in the animal kingdom to rationalize the cruelty of human beings; however, much of the behavior among animals is quite pacific. Many animals are vegetarians - cows, gorillas, etc. They say it's a "dog eat dog" world, but have you ever actually seen a dog eat a dog?

Ingrid Newkirk and PETA are regularly attacked by defenders of the meat industry on talk radio and in other parts of the corporate media. It is great that HBO has created this documentary to shed light on this remarkable person and the important work of PETA.

An incredibly important documentary. It includes a segment on bovine growth hormone being used on cows.

I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan, but I have dramatically reduced my meat and dairy consumption. This is an exceptional vegan cookbook.
