Great bag!
I purchased this bag to use as a smaller diaper bag. It is fantastic! I use it for both of my children. I have a 2 year old and 2 month old. The bag can hold a small wipes container, 2-3 diapers for each of my kids, an extra outfit for my 2 month old, a bottle, and formula container, and a medium cosmetic bag (also Vera Bradley, which I use for my essentials so that I can switch bags easily.) I use the front pocket to hold my keys and cell phone. It certainly isnt a bag that you would want to use for a whole day away from your home, but for an outing that you wouldn't a huge bag for its great. I like it for trips to the museum, or zoo. I can strap it on my back and I dont have to worry about the bag falling off my shoulder, or holding it in my hand. I highly recommend this bag, and have gotten it for gifts for several people. Its very versatile. I love that, unlike a standard diaper bag, I can continue to use this beyond baby years. The quality of craftsmanship of all the Vera products will certainly allow me to use this bag for that long!

backsack
This is a beautiful print and colors. I love the inside pockets. It needs a little wider strapes. These are a little delicate for the amount of times putting the sack on and off in the lifetime of the bag.

if you want a purse that you don't have to worry about, this could be it! I love wearing this with just the few things I need for a light day (simple cosmetics, pills, cards, keys, and not much more.) Don't weigh it down and you should be able to forget you've even got it on (until you need it!) This bag sits very nicely on the back and doesn't chafe on the neck or shoulders. And there's no closure to worry about for the top because the weight of the bag keeps it closed. The "front" pocket is a little difficult for big hands, so I keep my keys in it, but it is nice and deep for a change pocket or a perfume or whatever you want to keep more handy than the rest. And because it's Vera Bradley, getting a nice little hand-sized bag in a matching color is a breeze! (I use the tech pouch for my iPhone and my credit cards.)
