Great Phrasebook
This is a great book. I took it with me to Finland and also did some studying before traveling to Helsinki and Oulu and Kemijarvii.

If you can get your hands on this book it is well-written and has many useful phrases. The people I met were able to understand what I was saying...which goes a long way.

Good information.
I love this book. It has an easy to use dictionary full of general, everyday words and useful phrases. It also has a grammar lesson in the begining.
For someone studying on their one in spare time or just starting out, it's awesome. Lots of words you use everyday and phrases as well.

I do agree with the other reviewer, if you are in a college class or advance and need to use words like, it's not the greatest.

not too terrible
if you intend to use this dictionary to visit finland, you would be well off. however, if you intend to use this dictionary to learn the language (for instance, in a college class) this is far from being the best dictionary out there. i'd recommend the hippocrene concise dictionary.
