Someone had to write a review of this album and spread the word, so reluctantly, I will. You see, I am a musician and I don't like critiquing others, but in this case it is necessary to inform the public. This disc is spectacular! I mean...seriously, where does Ninja Tune come up with all of this raw talent. This ensemble from the UK does epic, updated jazz fusion similar to Cinematic Orchestra or Jaga Jazzist, not that this could be a bad thing! Honestly though, aside from these likenesses, this is an original and immaculate album. The availability is hit & miss, but if you're a fan of 21rst century jazz looking to push the boundaries, search this out and buy it, you'll thank me.

An absolute monster of an album! Heavy, groove-laden space jazz, just what I've been looking for all this time. As the previous reviewer mentioned, this is similar to The Cinematic Orchestra and Jaga Jazzist, but it's anything but derivative. Loka is 1/3 of Super Numeri with Pop Levi and Snap Ant (look them up too)!
